The official publish date of this book is October of 2016, but somehow I didn't stumble upon it until this year. I wish I had found it in 2016 because some of the tactics in this book have helped my clients increase their conversion rates and average order values by a substantial amount - way worth the $18 price tag for this book.
From front to back, it's a wealth of information that takes a slightly different approach to e-commerce, but at the same time - not too uncommon. One of the concepts that I didn't think would work in ecommerce is a dedicated product landing page. You've probably seen these in the non-ecommerce world - a stripped down webpage with no navigation or anything with the only goal of selling one service to you. The author, Tanner Larsson, claims he has tested this over and over with results better than a standard product page. I was still skeptical, so I tried it for one of my client's Shopify site and was pleasantly surprised with the results. We were able to increase the conversion rate from 2% to 3%. Not bad!
Note: we also used an app for this called Funnel Buildr that made it super easy to do (and test).
This is just one of many concepts in this 300+ page book. I don't want to ruin it and give any more details, but that one landing page concept alone paid for itself many times over and there are lots more!
